The woman behind Wisdom Nutrition
Hi, I'm Monique Flanigan, a registered Nutritionist (NSA member) with a passion for helping women feel strong, clear-minded, and energised.
Before nutrition, I completed a Bachelor of Screens Arts and had a successful career in film and TV. But my passion for food and health called me back to university, where I completed a Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition at La Trobe University.
Nutrition is powerful. When done right, it fuels energy, strengthens immunity, and supports mental clarity. But in countries like Australia, it is also the leading cause of chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers.
Many people believe they “know what to eat,” but the science goes deeper than increasing protein or cutting sugar. Your body has different needs depending on your age, lifestyle, and health history.
By nourishing your body in the right way, you can build a healthier, more vibrant life. Good gut health alone can improve your skin, lift your mood, sharpen your mind, and give you the energy to live your best life.
Historically, women’s health has been sorely neglected. That’s why I’m on a mission to keep learning and share the knowledge I have gained, so we can support each other to do amazing things.
